Marketing Your Home

Online

Ninety-two percent of buyers use the internet in their home search process and 50 percent of buyers use a mobile website or application in their home search.

It’s not just about getting your home on the MLS anymore. With State MLS systems and websites like Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia and countless others, it is important that your home is listed in as many online resources as possible. Social media websites like Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest are also  a very important resource in the digital world. It only takes one buyer and you never know where they are going to find you.

How about a webpage for your property ?

Print and Traditional Media

Never underestimate the tried and true marketing methods. Direct mail, Open House Advertising in the Local Newspapers, Real Estate Magazines, Business Cards, Property Brochures.

For Sale and Open House Signs

HONEY, STOP THE CAR!!! Your sign should be highly visible with easy to read contact information for your Listing Agent. Also any descriptive Sign Riders like “New Price”, “waterfront” , “By Appointment Only” , “www.yourhomeadresshere.com” or  “TEXT 207-741-2006” should be attached and a Property Brochure Container easily accessed so those buyers can give me a call.

Open Houses are a great way to get Buyers in the door. I advertise and host Open Houses whenever I can. Recent statistics show that 45% of Buyers will use Open Houses to search for a home. It’s important to get those Open House up for increased visibility.

Realtor Networking

We work along side a lot of Buyer Agents from a lot of other companies. A goodListing Agent keeps in touch with all of these agents and knows who works in certain areas. Broker Luncheons, Broker Tours and good old fashion phone calls and email campaigns to these agents often pays off. Follow up and good communication is the cornerstone to making the sale.

Tell Your Friends and Family

Word of Mouth. Grass roots methods can spread like wild fire. Tell your friends and family and if they might know someone who might know someone – get that info and get it to me! I will make the call! Also if any buyers stop to talk while you are out mowing the lawn – write down their info and get it to me. Don’t count on them calling me (even if they tell you they will) but if you write it down and get me their info, I will call them to find out what their level interest might be and schedule an appointment to show them the interior! NOTE: Do not let strangers into your home unless they are accompanied by your Listing Agent or their Buyer Agent.
