Cape Elizabeth

Maine’s most photographed light house – The Portland Head Light -is located in Cape Elizabeth at Fort Williams Park on Shore Road. It’s just minutes from Intown Portland and has panoramic views of the Calendar Islands of Casco Bay and of the Atlantic Ocean. Two Lights State Park, Kettle Cove and Crescent Beach State Park also offer great spots for day trips and beach adventures.

There are many great oceanside neighborhoods along Shore Drive and also just off Rt.77 (Ocean House Rd). Cape Cottage Farms, Oakhurst, Delano Park, Pond Cove, Trundy’s Point and Broad Cove to name just a few.

Located a little bit inland, Cape Elizabeth has a body of fresh water called Great Pond with nice walking trails and is a nice paddle sport destination.  Cape Elizabeth also borders scenic marshland and the Spurwink River. The neighborhoods near Mitchell Road, Ocean House Road, Fowler Road, Scott Dyer Road, Spurwink Ave and Sawyer Road offer areas of both suburban and rural character.

The Purpoodock Club golf course (members and guests) is located on Spurwink Avenue and hosts championship tournament and charity events.
